I very much like these pictures, JRA. The sounds of cycling - the near-silence of the machine, which allows one to hear so many otherwise inaudible things - are one of the treats of getting about by bike. I wrote recently about the sounds I hear while cycling in New York City: http://invisiblevisibleman.blogspot.com/2013/06/it-was-as-inconvenient-time-for-work.html
Thanks, Invisible. I agree, the sonic world is so accessible from a bike, and in New York, often incredibly rich and rewarding. Also equally remarkable are the quiet moments in your city, for example, the Financial District early on a Sunday morning.
