| Copious bike parking, right off the path! Is it dog friendly, or friendly dog? |

| I think I shall have a cold one, and some ride fuel appetizer, on the patio, to think it over. |
Between this, and the prominent bicycle rack at NoRTH reSTaRanT, and the one at Kitchen 56 (which was giving discounts for a while just for showing up on a bike), I'm beginning to think there's a bicycle-friendly theme picking up steam in this city. Or a least, picking up take-out.

I agree. You've highlighted some of the best in Arcadia. I'd also add Chelsea's Kitchen in that part of town. It has a bike rack and patio set right against the north bank of the Arizona Canal. Another cluster of bike-friendly dining exists a few miles west in Uptown. Just check out the big bike racks on the patio of Postino Central and Windsor/Churn.
ReplyDeleteI did visit and post about the great racks right on the canal at Chelsea's Kitchen, here: A Proper Interface Between Canal and Community, and also have some pictures of the LGO rack just down the street. I have to check out the Uptown racks you mention.
DeleteIs that bike rack connected to the Earth by four simple, easily undone hex nuts as it appears? Will there be a yellow card affixed to any bike using it?
ReplyDeleteSteve, I'll have to go an perform a fastener analysis. The bike parked in the rebar rack appears to be not-locked. But perhaps there is a friendly dog with large teeth keeping an eye on it.
