They sound and taste pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I once had heavenly Peking duck (at a Tianjin kaoya dian), and once cooked a very good version with 40 cloves of garlic, I tend to not seek out duck to eat, for some reason.
DeleteActually, yes, but they were stuffed and mounted. My dad was an avid hunter.
ReplyDeleteI always liked the duck decoys, and the intricately carved wooden duck models, more than the stuffed ones. Of course, in terms of photogenicness and coolness, ducks can't hold a candle to loons. If it was allowed, I would decorate the house with beautiful carved loons. But alas, not allowed.
